Top 5 places for your engagement & love story photo session in Playa del Carmen

Playa Del carmen is the best location spot in the Rivera Maya!
The location if this small city is right in the heart of the Riviera which makes it so much easier to maximize your trip and get around to see more places!
Its a paradise for photographers; that offers jungles, beaches, street arts and so much more
Here are my favorite locations; each one is special for itself,
you only have to choose:)

The 5th Av in Playa del Carmen
5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen is a 5-mile long pedestrian-only walkway full with colorful souvenirs stores, live performances, bars, restaurants, cultural events and shopping centers.
It’s colorful, vibrant, and bustling that gives you the perfect opportunity for amazing, authentic street photoshoot!
The 5th Avenue is close to the beach, so if you would like to ran away from all the buzzes and enjoy a different background that’s a great option as well!

Playa Punta Ezmeralda
open cenote that flows right into the Caribbean Sea, as well as a wide, white sand beach. Also known as “Playa Esmeralda,” Playa del Carmen Punta Esmeralda has become a favorite location for a photo session from any kind, since all the verity of backgrounds it offers!
From Sandy white beach, to an amazing green path, shade, crystal clear water or direct sunset- the ideas are infinitive.
Also, there is a very comfortable access by car of Taxi.
And yes, access is completely free.

Playacar
The Playacar area is known for its upmarket residential villas, all-inclusive resorts, and luxury golf club. The clear waters and white sand of its namesake beach draw a mix of locals and visitors for kitesurfing, snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing. Iguanas scamper over the Xaman-Ha ruins, a cluster of crumbling stone buildings used by the Maya until the 16th century.
Imagine a session over there! So many great places within a walking distance from one spot to another, the access can is easy and you can walk right in or drive your car and park.

Playa Xcalacoco
Playa Xcalacoco is a nice small beach just north of Playa Del Carmen where you will feel far enough from the center of Playa but still easily go to for the shoot, It’s only a 15 min ride from Playa Del Carmen downtown.
The water is very calm here because of the reef and rocks. There are some parts of the beach that are rocky. The cool thing about the rocks are the small pools of water and the sea life that lives there. If you look closely you will see tiny fish and crabs. Birds also walk around here feeding giving you a nice chance to seeing several types of sea birds.
No more to be said- It’s the ultimate spot for a family session, and verity of backgrounds it offers.

Cenote Cristalino
Although Cenote Cristalino is not in Playa Del Carmen but its near by and definitely deserve to get into to the top 5 list!
Aside from its natural beauty and crystal-clear water, another main reason why tourists choose this cenote is because it is less crowded. It is relatively quiet (especially if you visit on weekdays) and quite cheap, too- The entrance fee for models & Photographers is 200 MXN (about 10 USD)
This is an open-type cenote that looks like a natural swimming pool.
There are some portions of the cenote that are concealed beneath a rock that form like a mini cave. As such, there are cliffs that you can jump off to get into the water (I will shoot this moment with huge pleasure!)
